Caravelle ou Floride. |

They look so much alike in pictures that I can't tell the difference. |

It is a Caravelle. The Floride had fake chrome air intakes ahead of the rear wheel arch. |

I have to agree with Junkman. All of the pictures of the Floride I could find show chrome strips on the air intake. See: http://www.verdensnavle.dk/car/floride.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-04-20 17:13:46 |

Indeed first editions of Floride had this fake chrome, but before the Caravelle Cabriolet 1100 appeared in production in 1964, there was the Floride S 1962-1963 with new rims, no fake chrome and new engine 956cm3...so Bebert is right it is a Floride S 1962 |

...of course I'll try to send a picture of a Floride S asap...but I haven't time at the moment (a TGV to take at 19H15) |

I am certainly not going to argue with frenchmen over a french car I just didn't find a picture that didn't have the chrome. |
