1953 Cadillac "Series 62" sedan (100% sure). The small, quarter vent window was available only on the "Series 62" and the Fleetwood "Series 60 Special" sedans). It's not the Fleetwood, which had a gold "Fleeywood" script on the dash; the "Series 62" has the "Cadillac" script on the dash (as in this car). It's not an earlier year (1950-51); these had a more ornate nameplate frame in the center of the dash. The "60 Special" has power window lifts; this car has manual windows (as may be seen in the rear seat view. One thing that put me off was the rear upholstery; in my opinion, this car has a restored interior that does not follow the original "button and pleat" design. |
