Too bad this spindle was demolished in May 2008 to make way for a Walgreens store to be built. Only the VW Beetle and the BMW were saved, the rest of the cars were junked.  Here's the Wikipedia article about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spindle_(sculpture) |

Why would they save the Beetle and not the Capri? That's outrageously stupid if you ask me. |
