Too bad this spindle was demolished in May 2008 to make way for a Walgreens store to be built. Only the VW Beetle and the BMW were saved, the rest of the cars were junked.  Here's the Wikipedia article about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spindle_(sculpture) |

Carrying the 1978-specific "Appearance Decor Group," in white over aqua (Code 9D-7Q). White over red and beige over brown were also available color schemes with that option. |
