^Unfortunately true. In fact I don't remember ever seeing one. Talbot versions yes but no Simcas. |

The different wiki articles are confusing me which Horizon it could be in 1979 (release date of the movie 20 October 1979. Production 1978?) in Italy. I reviewed the scene with the Talbots. We can see a badge on the front grille. Does anybody know which one? ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-06-14 09:34:03 |

It is the Chrysler-sign. This badge is not the most important thing - it's the badge on the edge of the hood. The very first Talbot Horizon's (for only a few weeks/months) had still the Chrysler-grille, but already "Talbot" written on the hood. Later on it got a grille with the Talbot-"T". In 1978 the whole range was named Chrysler and not Simca any more, or? |

ingo is right: Since February 1978 till august 1979 They had Chrysler front badge, Chrysler front script on the hood, and rear Chrysler and Simca scripts. Between September 1979 and August 1980 they had Chrysler front badge (the pentastar), but Talbot script on the front hood, and Talbot and Simca rear scripts. After September 1980 they had Talbot badge on the front grille, and Talbot scripts both on the front hood and at rear (without any mention to Simca). I hope to have been clear. |
