You don't often see school buses with an entrance door on the left side. |

They're a little more common in the Northeast, and those also have the standard passenger side doors across from the drivers. But the regular ones with entrances only on the passenger side are more common than all the others. |

I've read that New York city uses school buses with doors on both sides so that they can park and load/unload passengers on either side of a one way street. |
