Watched this movie and it's great. Lots of action, and the GTO footage is great too. Plus, I agree with the above comments...nice it was NOT destroyed in the film. Just wonder what happened to it when June was taken away, after she tried to give the battery to the "bad guys". They put something over her head, then she woke up in another country. What happened to the GTO? Did they just leave it there, or were they nice to drive it back to her house...NOT! Funniest thing, I have an exact gold 1:18 scale diecast model of the GTO used in the film. |

I JUST WATCHED THE MOVIE, AND THINK THIS CAR COULD GET AT LEAST 4 STARS ( I MEAN REALLY, THE CHEVY SUBURBAN ALSO GOT 3 STARS, AND THE SMART CAR TOO???)THIS CAR DOES NOT ONLY PLAY A PHYSICAL ROLE IN THE MOVIE, BUT IS MENTIONED QUITE PARTICULARLY, AND QUITE A COUPLE OF TIMES TOO. |

As of right now, the hero car is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-pontiac-gto-44/ A real '66 GTO, in Martinique Bronze, with a 389 Tri-Power, 4-speed, and 3.36:1 Saf-T-Track.
