"A very, very distant second [to women] is a Ferrari."

"The last time I was here [The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel] was with a G-2 from Brussels. Had a Ferrari. Every day I held the door open for the fucker, never even offered me a ride. Well, fuck him. He's dead and I'm blind."

Timid public schoolboy Charlie Simms (Chris O'Donnell) tries to cheer up blind, suicidal ex-soldier Lt. Col. Frank Slade (Al Pacino) by taking him for a drive in a Ferrari. Then he lets the Colonel have a go behind the wheel...

Apparentely the Mondial wasn't a great Ferrari (at least according to Jeremy Clarkson and other Top Gear people), being a bit on the cheap side.

I now own this Mondial that was used in Scent of a Woman. I purchased it from it's 2nd owner a few years ago as it sat as a garage queen for 5 years in the USA. It currently has just under 50K miles on it and I drive it only for short runs around my home town in Canada in late spring and early fall.

GeoGeo, I talked to Brad at FofSF who showed me the T awhile ago. He stated FofSF acquired the car, special, for someone [he has a few Ferraris] that wanted the movie's T: Guessing that was you. BTW< I have the exact same cabriolet color and all.

I wonder how much this car(model) cost today.

Ridiculous scene. In real life, there would have been an accident if you'd let someone blind drive.
