looks like a 1999 model with the 2007-2008 spoke rims, and a rear bumper brush guard from a 1999-2000 Commercial Taxi Package...any other things to point out? |

Ever since I saw this car, it has always confused the heck out of me. There are so many mismatched parts. Anyhow, it's a 2006-2008 model due to the wheels, side trim, and interior seat colors. I don't know in what capacity the car served in before, but I get the feeling that it might have been a Police Interceptor with the Street Appearance Package. The honeycomb grille is a replacement and the taxi style rear bumper guard was probably added to facilitate the stunt in the sixth thumbnail. |

What about the matching door handles and the script in between taillight and the plate? Wheels, seats and grille are easily replaced... Does it help? Comments? -- Last edit: 2010-07-05 05:00:40 |

I'm not sure I get what your point is. What about them? The door handles are supposed to match and the script in the trunk reads "CROWN VICTORIA." This is definitely not the basic Police Interceptor, and these are two of the clues that support this. The whole interior matches that of a 2006+ Police Interceptor, and I somehow doubt that it was all replaced. As for the grille, I said it was probably a replacement. My original comment still stands. I haven't seen the movie, but the only surefire visible thing that could tell me what type of car this is specifically is the speedometer. If at least some of it was visible, it would really help. |

The reason why I asked is about the doorhandle trim is chrome... That is what bothered me the most. I hope it helps ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-07-05 16:29:29 |

In this case, the doorhandles should have chrome trim. |

Or, he can be an civilan base model (P73) with P71 grill and P71 wheels |

Not likely with that interior. |

Old thread I know, but this is more than likely a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the Street Appearance Package. That model had everything the Police Package had, but it came with civilian trim, the civilian interior was an option, but it looks like this car didn't have it. |
