That theme was composed by Roy Budd IIRC - who had a jazz-background just like Doldinger. To come back to topic (noone should have in mind to provoke the holy anger of the Mr.admin  ):Annoyingly  I cannot find the Youtube of this VW-made commercial of the 1971 model range (a few scenes we have in the database, as /vehicle_289708-Volkswagen-1600-Typ-31-1971.html ).
