the question: modiefied for war or for the movie? I never have seen a bodywork like that. and the cannon seems to me very BIG for a vehicle like that. :-)) martin p.s.: 3 stars -- Last edit: 2006-05-03 05:35:41 |

the turret reminds me on russian tanks:![]() a little research showed a LOT of variations. for example: Link to "www.israeli-weapons.com" but no one like that. some sources name it a *WHITE* vehicle. :-)) martin -- Last edit: 2006-05-03 05:56:42 |

The Wheel arches look like those of the International Harvester M5 Halftrack. The other producers of half-tracks (M2 and M3 versions) were Autocar, White and Diamond T. They used rounded whell arches. The gun is probably plywood and plastic tubing. ![]() |

I found no better view on the track. that gun and turret - huh! would be better on a battleship ;-))) |

The tracks were similar on all halftracks (M2, M3, M5). The M5 can be identified by its fronts wings and the rounded rear hull edge. ...oh yes!! ![]() |
