Does Steyr, or, rather isn't Steyr a manufacturer of Lorries in Europe?, or am I getting that confused with the company responsible for the AUG? ![]() |

It was, but it was broken up. The truck division was bought by MAN, the arnoured vehicle division became part of General Dynamics, contract manufacturing (e.g. Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen) became MagnaSteyr, don't know about the small arms. ![]() EDIT: The group was called Steyr-Daimler-Puch, and it was broken up in 1990. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr-Daimler-Puch -- Last edit: 2010-11-06 11:17:52 |
