In UK the 5-door hatch was far more common than the saloon. We consistently preferred hatches much more when the choice was offered (eg Escort/Orion, Sierras, Focus, Granada/Scorpio, Cavaliers, Astra/Belmont, Volvo 340, other Nissans, Toyotas, Renault 9/11, Peugeot 306 and loads more). |
