Some Beetles in Soviet Lithuania: http://www.liucijus.lt/images/phocagallery/16_mm/0108%2016%20mm.jpg http://eag.vanatehnika.ee/a-sks-mb/M-B290PullmLim-d_Leedu-Kretinga1981.jpg Link to "www.liucijus.lt" And another one in present-day Lithuania that looks like it's been there since Soviet times: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" |

There are actually TWO Beetles in this series - a red one (I think the first link) which would get two stars, and this one. In better quality: (4:56:41: https://ok.ru/video/2908242119319 ) we can see it is a pre-1967 model with post-1967 indicators. EDIT: Despite being filmed in Lithuania, I have a strong suspicion it's this one: https://a.d-cd.net/d42afa5s-960.jpg Color is very similar, and it has bumper horns. tore-40? -- Last edit: 2021-02-28 18:55:20 |

Main looks like a pre-1965 |

Funny, the plate comes back as a 1965. |

I can't even see the wipers while you can decipher the plate.... The plates don't seem to match. Your linked photo could match a 1965, main seems to have an older windscreen |

Naturally, from my link of course, from the film it's impossible. I can't 100% confirm that this is the same Bug, but considering how few there must have been, I think this could be it. Of course the plates don't match, it's supposed to be in America. -- Last edit: 2021-02-28 22:07:14 |
