According to my book about BMW (Rosellen, Hanns-Peter (1983), Das weiss-blaue Wunder, Prisma Verlag edition 1987) it must be a 327/328 (569 made between April 1938 and March 1941 including both cabriolet and cupés). The body work is most likely made by Ambi-Budd, Berlin. 6 cyl, 1971 cc, 80 bhp, 140 km/h. The 327/328 was a combination of the body and chassie from the 327 and the engine from the 328. I believe this is not a 327 as the doors are hinged at front. |

It´s a BMW 327 Cabriolet. The BMW 327/28 (not 327/328) with the bigger engine from the 328 was only to identifying over the wheels (Rudge "Zentralverschluss") and the RPM gauge (speedometer). |
