s'much as i really don't like the Standard Catalog of American Cars, for '68 they show a "Nomad" only as part of the "Chevelle 300" and "Chevelle 300 Deluxe" series (the two lowest levels). "Malibu" level wagons are listed as "4 Door Station Wagons" with no mention of "Nomad", and above that, there was a "Chevelle Concourse Estate Wagon". |

The lowest trim level for 1968-72 Chevelle wagon is Nomad, starting as Nomad Custom in 1968 model year. Yes, they were part of the 300 series... 1969 or later was named as Nomad only... Unfortunately, I can't tell the front end That is the reason why I stated as 1968 or later Chevrolet Chevelle Nomad... -- Last edit: 2010-07-29 14:31:20 |

In 1968-72 model year they were nomenclature names in between the sedan/coupe and station wagon. I think that is in order: Malibu - Concours and Concours Estate 300 Deluxe - Greenbrier 300 - Nomad (Nomad Custom for 1968 only) I have to research in the Dammann book... |
