I am almost 100% sure that this car is not a "1995 S600" unless everything on it was modified to a 96-99, which is highly unlikely. First of all, it is definitely not a 1995 because it has the 1996-1999 Air Conditioning Unit installed as shown in this movie screen shot: Second, this car is definitely not an S600, because it does not have the S600 Grille installed, but instead, has the regular S-Class Grille installed (picture below). These grilles were standard equiptment on the S320, S420, and S500 Sedans. Third, this car has the 1997-1999 Mercedes-Benz S Class Taillights: One interesting thing though, is that the car appears to have the 1995-1996 S Class Chrome Rims, which were not avalible after 1996(see picture). So after all of this, this car could be: - 1996 Mercedes-Benz S Class with 1997-1999 Taillights - 1997-1999 Mercedes-Benz S Class with 1996 S Class Chrome Rims But it is definitely not a 1995 S600 -- Last edit: 2020-09-01 01:11:55 (karoomay) |

it is not a V12 600 as he said, but it is a LWB. The most likely thing for this to be is a S500L (was the 500 SEL) The year is confusing as 1996 S500 said, because of all these extras that are on the car. --------- |

why would they use a 2 year old car for a movie? in 1997 all the mercedes had a black square under the trunk lid for rhe IR locking/unlocking, so this is a 1998-1999 |

Romeo Must Die was released in March 2000. Allowing a few months for editing and post-production, it must have been filmed during 1999. -- Last edit: 2007-12-29 22:35:50 |

I know, thats what i ment, if this was flimed in 1999 why would they use a 1996 Mercedes? I know this isnt an 1992-1997, so i would guess it's a 1999 becuase thats when the movie was made, but it could also be a 1998, either way this car is not a 1992-1997, it is a 1998-1999 |
