It's a custom but I'm 90% sure it is based on a circa 1984 Dodge Charger |

I'm 100% sure it's not. 1981 Ford Mustang |

But this thing looks like a four-door? |

It sort of looks like a DeLorean. |

It looks like of those P.O.S. TC-3's or some other type of throw away 4 cyl fwd exotic-car wannabe. ![]() |

And how do you know it is modified/custom? I see a logo and some sort of name over the front left headlight. I'd say a stretched 81' Delorean DMC 12, with custom body and front fascia modifications. -- Last edit: 2006-06-19 21:13:02 |

DeLorean modifiée? Ou comment enlaidir définitivement une belle voiture en en faisant cette m... tout juste bonne à servir de contre-exemple dans n'importe quelle école de design automobile! |

Seeing the size/proportions, I doubt it could be a DeLorean. Any other coupé of the 80s would be easier to transform. The only common points with DeLorean is the color and the headlighs (which were US standard sealedbeams). -- Last edit: 2006-06-19 21:40:11 |

There's one thing about it, it aint a Dodge Charger or any other type of Dodge. After staring at it for a while I think it's the Challenger/Sapporo Mitsubishi with some sort of nose added on to it. The mirrors are correct for that car and so are the 4 headlights. |

Challenger of the same year? Or another? |
◊ 2006-12-30 06:26 |
I am not really big into the early 80s Mopars, but I could definitely buy the argument that it's a custom Mopar. Could be a Challenger/Sapporo (this one is most likely), Charger, Omni 024, or Plymouth Horizon TC3...in is definitely not a Delorean. |

Judged by the windshield area and the rearview mirror, i'd say an early eighties GM vehicle. Pontiac GP, or Old Cutlass. |

Your all wrong.. Its a Silver Volt electric car http://www.electricauto.com/prod_09b.html |
◊ 2007-04-21 06:52 |
Wow, good job tracking that one down! Is it more, or do the doors look like they came off a Malibu? |
◊ 2007-04-21 23:26 |
"EV" just means "Electric Vehicle", I doubt that it is the make. Should we list it as Apollo make? Or just "Silver Volt" as make rather than model? Edit: from other sites, it seems that it could be listed as EAC (Electric Auto Corporation) -- Last edit: 2007-04-21 23:28:47 |

This car looks freaking awesome and it's a real shame that it has not been used in any other movie then this and it was not even used that much in the movie I expected that this car was going to play a bigger part in the movie specially because it is suppose to be a super spy car or something like it but we only see it in the back ground at the workshop and Cody arriving at the harbor in it come one movie I want to see this baby in real action like in a car chase or something like but enough about that i just found and article about this car on this website http://www.motherearthnews.com/Green-Transportation/1979-09-01/Silver-Volt.aspx and according to the website the car is from about 1979 or 1980 -- Last edit: 2023-10-21 23:20:54 |

In two scenes (one early in the movie, one as he gets the car from the storage) the car is covered, only the front (with the glued-on '007' guns) is visible. Something has been attached to the quarter panel/rear wing to alter its appearance. As agent Cody Banks gets out of the car (a few seconds after main shot) you can see the ribs or slats in the roof, starting at the B-pillar.
