It's possibly this ex USAF police vehicle, provided by Sage Cars Berlin. |

It probably is the same car. It's possible that the front push bar was added for the movie. |

Ah, interesting. The semi-faked Magirus fire truck is interesting, too. It was a real one, but now owned by a private person or company - the blue lamps were changed to yellow ones, as their use isn't legal any more. And the mandatory sign of the fire-station on the front doors is missing. The text on the side isn't authentic either, resp. not original for this older truck. |

The PCOOA e.V. is the US police car collector's club: www.pcooa-ev.de Wasn't the old fire truck, see the first pic on the top left http://www.pcooa-ev.de/galerie/main.php?cmd=album also visible in one movie, filmed in Germany, but set in the USA? ![]() Active guys, sometimes I've seen some of them on their way to a meeting. The meeting-location in Essen is nearby an original US-style diner-restaurant (I recommend their extra large cheeseburger and specially their potato-wedges ![]() One police-bike on the pics of the meeting in Strausberg 2009 could be owned by my brother-in-law. I must ask, which he took last year. He owns a BMW in West German police-trim and also a complete original MZ of the DDR-Volkspolizei. -- Last edit: 2010-09-06 21:26:32 |

Not from Sage Cars, but from www.nycberlin.com. They confirm on their page that this is their car. http://www.nycberlin.com/filmautos/police/sp-crown-vic/ |
