The years are correct, but is "made for USA" correct, as this car was bought in Germany and exported from there? ![]() Otherwise: There is photo known from Peter Fonda, when he got his new ordered Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 directly at the Mercedes factory (with such an export plate, too). The car was also an US-model. And a friend owns a 1973 VW 412 in US-version, which never had left Germany. It was bought as a new car by an US-citizen, for using it for a long Europe-trip and than for bringing it to the States. But this never happened. |
