a rare 1979 Fiat "127 Top", a special limited edition available in Italy in two versions: a bronze beige metallic without canvas sunroof and a dark blue metallic with such sunroof. For export there were bronze cars with sunroof, and blue ones without, too. It was really pretty nice: everything was coordinated with the body colour: the sunroof canvas, the seats, the cockpit, the steering wheel and even the seat belts. it was the first italian with a vanity mirror for the driver side, and when Fiat was asked why, it answered saying it was unclear to know id there were more men watching themselves at the mirror, or women driving a car (other times...) |
