Isn't it just the plainest and most ordinary Chevy 2-ton truck? What's so special about it? |

1947-53 cab and 1951+ vent window on a 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design stake. Heavy-duty (1½-ton 4000-Series and 2-ton 6000-Series trucks) wheel rims on what seems to be a short 137"/3.48 m wheelbase (to be compared to the 161"/4.09 m one) make it a 4109 or a 6109 Stake. But as said Chevrolet, "these trucks look alike": (Also worth for smaller 4100 and 6100 models...) Unlike shown in this ad, it was mostly sold as Stake (without the truck) by Chevrolet. ⇒ 1951 Chevrolet Advance-Design Stake -- Last edit: 2015-01-09 03:07:37 |
