No vent window, so a 1947-50 truck from the New Design trucks line for sure. Which means a FC-Something model indeed. But the 2nd vertical reinforcement bar just in front of the rear wheel arch indicates a 7.5ft./2.29 m bed on a 125¼"/3.18 m wheelbase: this pickup could be a ½-ton FC-100 truck (FC-102 GMC internal code) as well as a ¾-ton FC-150 one (FC-152 code). So unless Light-duty is recognized as model, the only accurate identification should be ⇒ 1947 GMC New Design (with nothing more) |
