In Canada, the dealerships were more spread out, so some brands had to expand their lineups to carry a full line of vehicle types. For Mercury and Plymouth (under the Fargo brand), that meant selling trucks in addition to cars at their dealerships. I believe GMC was always paired with Pontiac too. |

yep Chevy was with Olds and Caddy Saturn Saab and Isuzu were together as well for a while i don't know if it was the same all over Canada but in my area it was i think Hummer was available only in selected ( Chevy ? ) dealers -- Last edit: 2017-11-27 05:45:41 |

Plymouth did build (light duty) trucks until shortly after the war, but Pontiac didn't dare until the advent of the G8 Sport Truck - just before they went broke. |
