Some expatriate near neighbours had one of the curiously basketweave-effect Station Wagons in the 1950s; I might just have remembered if the car had cast odd shadows like that - light grey intruding on the wheels at driver's side with a darker area featuring half a steering wheel. Strangely sloppy superimposition suspected there.

I noticed this shot on the Forum under 'Donovan's (sic) Brain'.
Some expatriate near neighbours had one of the curiously basketweave-effect Station Wagons in the 1950s; I might just have remembered if the car had cast odd shadows like that - light grey intruding on the wheels at driver's side with a darker area featuring half a steering wheel. Strangely sloppy superimposition suspected there.
