I think they were indeed exported to Thailand. |

They were and it is - VH series from 1971-73. In Australia the amber turn signals were a requirement for 1973 on so the last of the VH series had amber like this one. Unsure on Thai regulations but if they had no such regulations this is a 1973 model |

Did Chrysler Australia make LHD for export? |

The wiper-position is RHD-ish, as the other VH-Chryslers, I've overlooked. |

If you're asking about LHD in relation to exports to Thailand in particular, it doesn't matter because traffic there drives on the left. -- Last edit: 2010-09-26 23:04:32 |

So another country which appears to drive on left but imports lots of LHD US cars? |

I haven't noticed other Thai films being full of American cars. I think that the film has a period setting, or at least the director was going for a retro look. |

I don't think Chrysler Aust built any LHD cars. They only exported to RHD markets - UK, South East Asia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Africa as far as I know -- Last edit: 2010-10-27 06:12:52 |
