A 1942 Cadillac on the right? |

Thanks atom, but I think it's a 1946 with the new Cadillac "V" and crest (see trunk on main picture). Cadillac 1942 got that badge (link)and 1947 Cadillac got a trunk badge specific to only this model year. If I'm not wrong this is not a more usual Series 62 (2.323 of them were built) but a rarer Series 61 (only 800 built). There is no chrome on the B pillar which divides both side windows (see thumbnails) and this B pillar is some leaned. Completely straight on Series 62 |

Dear Vilero, you are absolutely right, it's a 46 Club Coupe S61. The much more beautiful B pillar definitely gives it away and also the correctly absent chrome spear, that runs under the window chrome on the series 62 from windshield to trunk. It is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Thank you very much for sharing!! Best wishes Jay Dee |
