I think there is a black '66 briefly shown briefly an episode of The Saint titled "Island of Chance" in the role of a police inspector's car in the Carribean, and I wonder if this is one and the same. It's original use was probably for a company or as an embassy vehicle for some country. In this episode it is a phoney USAF staff car, but the US government most likely wouldn't use a RHD vehicle and instead a LHD vehicle sourced through purchasing. The guards at the gate should have honed in on this curiousity and stopped the heist there and then!
