2003 Le Mans winning Bentley Speed 8 - EXP Speed 8 was earlier 2001-02 designation. Based on Audi R8 Le Mans prototype with collaborative development; Audi did not enter 2003 race to give Bentley a clear run, which resulted in a 1-2 finish. Bentley then stopped racing ("job done") and Audi resumed Le Mans victories for the next few years. |
