Not very realistic. A car in the middle of the destroyed Berlin in April 1945 - and the windows are not broken. Surely they haven't destroyed the cars. Just some parts are mounted off. Nice to see at the black Olympia. The white one, isn't an Olympia, it has 4 doors. -- Last edit: 2007-11-10 01:01:33 |

I'd say it's a fake... |

(Replying to an almost 12 year old comment) The film was shot in St. Petersburg, so it may be a Moskvitch. |

Looking at the main image, it strikes me this is shorter than the OL38 (it may be just for the unloaded springs). The wheelbase of OL38 was 2.43m vs K38 with 2.34m Even if parts are removed the shorter wheelbase can be seen by the way the front fender meets the front door, it seems. Where there is some cowl area at the bottom on the OL38 the K38 has none. Trafficators would have no room in the main image B-pillars. On the K38 the were cowl mounted. For the 4-door issue, there was a pre-WWII 4-door OL38 LV BTW, wasn't the Moskwitsch K38-based? |
