![]() This scene puzzles me. Is the inside scene (thumbnail image) made in the same bus as the outside scene of the main image? I wonder why they shot that. It is set in Russia. Due to the presence of a Peugeot 207 on the right, I suppose it was not shot in the USA ![]() It could have been Mexico if there wasn't all that snow ![]() And even if it was really shot in Russia, the plate of the car would be white instead of yellow, I guess? (but why go so far for shooting this 5-seconds scene?) |

i would say, both cars are CGI or a cheaper version. The peugeot looks like shaped into a picture with paint, if you look very close you can see it wasnt very well made... |

Well it is an animated scene, with snow falling, so maybe they assembled everything all items separately (and added snow), but it is with more than Paint ![]() |

I have an idea we have seen this bus in something else. Might be a GM 'Old Look' from around 1950? Maybe it belongs to a rental business supplying vehicles for the movies? Just need to find out who. -- Last edit: 2010-11-05 21:59:31 |

Maybe similar to, but not the same as, this one? /vehicle_197004-GM-TDH.html |

There is another one here - /movie_1131747-Phantom-Punch.html - but I guess the black and white footage in this movie is period. |

Here is another one - from a rental company this time. Unfortunately there are no pictures of the right side in this one. - /vehicle_30065-GM-TDH-4512-1957.html . I look forward to comments from someone more versed in old buses than I am. |

1953 GM TDH 5105.They were delivered in 1955 to John/Philadephia Transportation Co. Unfortunately their 1953 GM TDH 5106s also are shaped and painted like this. -- Last edit: 2010-11-06 08:12:00 |

Should be GMC, not GM, to conform to the rest of the database Produced from 1953 through 1959 |
