[Typ 5K], like the Golf VI, or [Typ 1K], since it has only the front of the new Golf? |

Its rare. Probably not tested in Brazil (for the image). |

Is it really sold as "Jetta Variant" in Brazil? Because in Germany it´s the Golf Variant. |

Funny to see that mk6 Golf Variant (which itself is just a restyled mk5 Golf Variant) rebadged as Jetta Variant at the side of the "old" mk5 Jetta ![]() /archives/2011_vw_jetta_brazil.png http://www.volkswagen.com/br/pt/carros/jetta.html So for Brazil it is named Jetta Variant, but I guess it keeps the chassis code of the Golf. Now does it use the code of the mk5 or mk6? If it is like for the mk4 Golf Cabrio which did not actually exist but was just a restyled mk3, the mk6 Golf Variant should be listed as a mk5... -- Last edit: 2012-02-24 22:35:46 |

Agree. Here, because the name "Jetta" (in the Lunfardo) means "bad luck" its Called Vento Variant ![]() Three different names for the same car :P |
