Oh boy, how to get everyone confused! A scene set in Australia filmed in the US using a Land Rover exported from the UK and still wearing its old UK number plate! As I understand it, its quite common in the US to leave the UK plates in place on imports as a status symbol. This is definitely an earlier model. The best I can say from the chrome ringed headlights it its a 1958-1961 Series 2 or a 1962 Series 2A. |
