Yes it represents the same 70 charger seen in all the movies. The director and Vin Diesel have said that it is considered a huge part of the series, hence its constant appearance. |

So far, this Charger has been thru hell and back. Before the events of the first movie, Dom's dad was killed in it, then Dom crashed it into a truck. Then it was rebuilt by Letty for Dom in the 4th movie, then crashed into explosive barrels inside the tunnel to Mexico. Brian was able to dig it out and repair it in time (length of time not specified; court trials do usually take time) to break Dom out of the prison bus where it was rearended to make the bus flip over. Then Dom repairs it and changes the appearance only to have The Rock t-bone it into a wall with his Gurka. |

Yeah, this is the same Charger. One of the producers said in an interview that Dom wanted to keep a low profile, so he changed the apperance slightly and removed the blower. -- Last edit: 2011-08-29 17:35:41 (antp) |

◊ 2012-04-15 08:37 |

◊ 2012-04-22 23:32 |
This car is the lazarus of the automotive world. It keeps rising from the dead. |

The main picture is not the charger Dom drives around in Rio. It's the same charger at the end of fast and furious 4 and the opening sequence of fast five |

This is (supposed to be) the same charger from the first and fourth FF movie. Now lets just ignore the obvious, the fact that it was blown up then buried in a tunnel connecting mexico to the good old U.S. of A. Lets go to imagination land and just pretend for a minute that Brian was able to get it out of the tunnel and maaaaaaagically rebuild it in the. . . lets say for instance 2-3 months that it took the not so great state of California to tri convict and sentence Dom to 25 to life. All that jibberish aside is it me or is this car getting uglier and uglier? I mean at least in this movie they finally dump that stupid blower that makes any car look absolutely hideous. But they screw it up in other ways by Blacking out all the chrome, then they go and "dip shit it up" more by adding those big dumbass rims. big beautiful American muscle cars are supposed to have no bigger than 15" rims and chrome. CHROME, CHROME, CHROME, DAMMIT !!!!!!!!! If it came shiny from the factory then its supposed to stay that way. |

man fuck the factory I think after market always makes a car look better then that factory shit.. plus with the charger in fast and furious it gets beter and better every movie it went from a super charged stock charger to a bad ass matt black beast sitting on 20 inch muscle car racing rims with a low profile blower. As for the blower it gives the charger that dont fuck with me look. I think in fast five even though I think they shouldn't of removed the blower I still think they did a good job re amping the car again. Specialy the black new 19inch wheels in the front and 20 in the back. The only thing that car is missing is missing ïs blue headlights and fog lights. Other then that that charger looks perfect better then a stock one.. so go fuck you self -- Last edit: 2014-02-11 18:04:11 (G-MANN) |

Stay polite or don't comment |

That's definitely the typical attitude for those who only comment on the Fast&Furious pages. |

How is it that after blowing up while stock car racing, crashing into a truck and violently flipping a few times, running into a wall full of live explosives, a bus smashing into it, and finally getting crushed: It's back in Toretto's garage for the 7th one and gets destroyed again????? |

Not so. Listen carefully to the story in the first movie again. Dom and Dad built this car together to drag race BUT dad was killed in STOCK CAR RACING in a different car. Beyond that, it's ridiculous that they suggest the same Charger keeps coming back (but then, this is F&F- it's all about the ridiculous). The crash in the first film totaled the car- no saving it. Then in 4, it crashes and explodes in the tunnel... granted that one was a computer graphic, not a real crash, but still, THAT car is also totaled- no saving it. Then it's back to save Dom from jail...and hit from behind by a BUS AT SPEED. Not really, but that's what we're supposed to believe happened. That car would be totaled more than the bus was. But there it is, yet again, in Rio to be hit by Hobbs' truck... and is, again, totaled. Does anyone believe it came back again in 7 as the 4x4 version? It's all as silly as anybody surviving that bus crash. If that was the best plan they had...let me go to jail. ![]() I don't know how many Chargers were destroyed trying to get that first crash filmed just right...but those and the Rio car are the only one truly destroyed. The tunnel and bus crashes didn't hurt any real Chargers. |

I like to think this vehicle has the same healing powers as Christine, hence why it keeps reappearing in one piece. |

that's a theory.. after all it comes from Chrysler too.... ![]() |
