 Indeed, from what was then the West Midlands PTE.

 No - it's an F-registration MCW Metrorider, not an Optare MetroRider (note the precise way I've described the two models. When Optare took on building the Metrorider they restyled it and renamed it the MetroRider). The batch was F666-85YOG, new in 1988.
