Scottsdale is a trim level. It's either a C-30 or a K-30, depending on whether or not it's four wheel drive. |

This has to be either from 1975 or 1976. |

This is a C-30 and Scottsdale is the trim. Indeed a 1975-1976 model as Ddey pointed out. Equipped with a "Fleetside Big Dooley" bed. -- Last edit: 2010-10-03 04:31:40 |

one of my buddies had one of these and I think the emblem rear of the doors (on the cab) says 3+3 |

From what I've heard, they're only 3+3 models if they have a rear seat. A lot of the work trucks (lower trim models) didn't have back seats and weren't considered 3+3's. Again, this is more information that I'd rather run by Neptune as his knowledge is much more complete. Information for this generation of trucks is hard to master, it seems. |

wow I didn't realize they came without back seats. I admit I don't know much about these Crewcabs as my buddies is the only one I have been in ![]() |

What trim was your friend's truck? |

It was a Scottsdale and looked Identical to this one. It was very sparse, vinyl floors, vinyl bench seats, I think the only option his had was the dual tanks ![]() |

Sorry for the very late reply... The Crew Cab was available in two configurations, a 3+3 cab configuration, and a bonus cab configuration. The Crew Cab in 3+3 configuration featured a rear bench seat (similar to the Suburban) and increased the seating capacity to six occupants, three up front, and three in the back. This is where the "3+3" or "3 plus 3" term came from. I’m stating the obvious at this point. The Crew Cab in bonus configuration featured an enclosed rear lockable storage area. The internal load space boasted 56 cubic feet. This was made possible by deleting the rear bench seat. Seating capacity was the same as the conventional cabs. The bonus version was sort of like a modern extended cab, but much larger and with four conventional doors. |

How long was the bonus cab sold? Did Ford or Dodge offer a "bonus cab"? -- Last edit: 2011-07-18 04:53:05 |

The rounded-line pickups offered a "bonus" Crew Cab up until the end of their lifecycle. Ford did not offer such a option for its pickups so far as I know, for they had the two door SuperCab extended cabs. They featured a rear seat that could fold up for extra storage room. I don’t know if Dodge had a "bonus cab like" option or not. |

The "bonus cab" was just the crew cab without a rear seat right? Couldn't you just take the seat out if you really wanted the space? |
