see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330154743481 as far as I know it's still available, it was unsold. How about saving it and putting maybe a cheap Subaru Legacy 2.2 in there? That's what I would do to get it back on the road - but arghhh I have no more space at the moment... |

the destruction of these beautiful cars always make me sad, but on the other hand, they didn't know better those days... the Gamma Berlina was in production till 1983 or so and a little over 15,000 were produced. |

I learned to drive with my mother's Gamma 2500 IE. You had to straighten the wheels before turning off the engine as to prevent the distribution belt to slip due to cold oil in the steering servo.... The fact that the steering was driven by the distribution belt caused the ruin of many Gamma's. If you knew how to live with its flaws the Gamma was an amazing car. The Lancia importer told me his most sattisfied customers were Gamma owners, as were the less happy ones! This one here is a first series! -- Last edit: 2009-02-17 10:04:18 |
