I saw one of these the other week in Southampton, it was probably going to a wedding. Very nice car, and much bigger in real life than you'd think from looking at this picture. |

For this type the name changed from Austin A135 Princess IV (1956-57) to Princess IV (1957-60) to Vanden Plas Princess 4-litre Limousine (1960-68). The cut-away rear wheel spats and the narrow chrome-plated quaterlight pillar were introduced with the name change to Vanden Plas Princess 4-litre Limousine. |

It is part of the model name to distinguish it from the Farina styled saloons. |
