Maybe the same Rolls-Royce? /vehicle_364816-Rolls-Royce.html If you look closely that sedan is a coupe. |

Yes, it appears to be the same car: 1935 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Fixed Head Coupe by Hooper. |

According to http://www.cinemavehicles.com/store_inventory.asp under Famous Movie Cars - Link to "www.cinemavehicles.com" - it's not a real Rolls, but was "BUILT OFF A 2003 CHEVY PICKUP AND COMPLETELY FABRICATED HERE AT OUR SHOP FOR THE 2010 MOVIE." -- Last edit: 2011-01-30 22:05:55 |

The IMDB says you are wrong Tim in their trivia section. 1935 Rolls Royce Phantom http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963966/trivia?tr=tr1373681 And I think you are wrong as well. Steve -- Last edit: 2011-07-04 03:47:33 |

He said "according to..." so it is not him who would be wrong. It is most likely that they would use a replica, seeing the action happening with it. Though that it is quite possible that both the real one and the replica were used, depending on the scenes. -- Last edit: 2011-07-04 10:17:01 |

The latter is quite likely, but the pic shows the real McCoy |

This is 70TA, it was owned by Nicholas Cage at the time of the film, and he's starring in it... |

"Oh THIS is low profile." When I saw the movie at the theater i 2010, I thought this was a Duesenburg. |

Also, I think that the NYPD wouldn't keep a car in their impound for 10 years. They would've auctioned it off but probably didn't want to anger the owner, since you'd have to be pretty damn rich to own a '35 Rolls, pardon my language. |

One of only two 1935 Rolls Royce Phantom II 70TA Fixed Head coupes finished by Hooper & Co. Link to "newatlas.com" Link to "www.goodingco.com" |

@CougarTim So, I know I'm 10 years late but I can clear this up. The Rolls Royce in the film was in-fact Nic Cage's 1935 Rolls-Royce Phantom (Doubt he owns it anymore). But they needed multiple of the same vehicle to shoot with, so they fabricated additional vehicles that were Rolls-Royce on top, and a Silverado underneath. So you're both right. -- Last edit: 2022-01-18 16:52:25 |
