In Italy it was called as Sunbeam 1250 TC, I'm pretty sure !!! |

Was there a 1500 version sold in Italy as well?? This has enough chrome for UK-spec 1500-only GL. |

In Norway they where usualy sold as Sunbeam 1250, 1500 or 1600 if there is sold any Sunbeam Avenger they must be extremely rare I have never seen one in Norway. And Sumbeam Avenger Im 100% certain is never sold here. |

Sunbeam Avenger was used alongside all the other names (eg http://www.rootes-chrysler.co.uk/Avenger/avenger-euro.html ). I would really love to see a confirmed list of all the names used for the Avenger, cross-linked to different markets and dates of usage. Was there for instance ever a Sunbeam 1300 - logically there should have been? Also in terms of imcdb entries, with Iranian and South American production as Dodge and VW, plus Plymouth Cricket and Hillman/Sunbeam/Chrysler/Talbot branding, is it worth thinking about linking them all together under the [B-car] code which was the Rootes/Chrysler internal name? |
