"Trophy" and "Trend" were originally basic 1.6-liter standard versions with some goodies, like the GT-style plastic trims along rocker panel and wheel arches. The GT had the 1.8 liter-engine of the 1983+ Golf GTI, a harder and lower suspension and sport-seats. |

1987-1990 by the turn signals/bumper/head lamps. Edit: just found out the 1990/1991 models were in fact this body style. The 1991/1991 was the novo santana. I found a 1990/1991 model and the plate came back 1991. -- Last edit: 2020-10-04 21:21:33 |
