Silver Streak was never a Pontiac model - just a generic name for those that had the strips over the hood. This is a 1948 Torpedo Coupe. Unfortunately you cannot see whether it is a six or an eight or if it is a Deluxe or not. |

I can see now that it is not a Deluxe by the absence of the fender trim. What I don't know is how to distinguish a Sport Coupe from a Business Coupe. So it could be either a Style 2727B Business coupe (which was not available as a deluxe) or a style 2727 which is the standard eight cylinder Sport Coupe. -- Last edit: 2011-01-27 08:38:06 |
