Commander 57 ◊ 2011-01-27 17:59	Just too far away to tell for certain if Commander or Champion. Would need to see if the taillamp lenses are divided into 2 sections or 4. Car is a '47 or '48 since the rear bumper appears to have end wings (rendered unnecessary in '49 when Studebaker went to wrap-around bumpers). Too far away to tell if '47 or '48 style rear bumper guards. I'm leaning '48. Listing as '48 Champion pending dissent or a closer photo, but if that is a fender top ornament I see on the LF fender, then it would be a Commander as '47 to '49 Champions did not offer that accessory. -- Last edit: 2011-01-27 18:15:35
