The arrangement was a specific short-term exercise to continue selling Galants in UK when a restriction was imposed on the number of Japanese cars being sold.

So do I. It looks as if Lonsdale was UK-only name unless anyone knows differently. The arrangement was a specific short-term exercise to continue selling Galants in UK when a restriction was imposed on the number of Japanese cars being sold.
