Assembly of 127p started in summer 1973, but they had to went on market in as 1974 m.y. Earlier there was some number of Fiats imported directly from Italy. -- Last edit: 2011-05-20 00:45:00 |

The owner said his car is from 1973 so I'll put 1973 as a production year. |

In later part of this year, but not sure (somewhere I read that before summer). Interesting is that, despite number of them assembled in 1973 was already notable, the 127p (with "p") was homologated in October-December 1973. EDIT: But perhaps this means mothing - I mean these late 1973 tests, as 1st "p" were delivered to owners already few months earlier (even in summer it seems): http://fiat125p.pl/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/DSC00001.jpg The mentioned late 1973 tests could be maybe related to cars assembled in "2nd standard". Edit: Perhaps the first cars imported directly from Italy (and badged as Fiat) were 1972 m.y., but it is also to confirm. In "Młody Technik" from late 1971 was pic of one still with white plates (and Podbielski was usually involved in homologation tests), but he could write this article earlier. They didn't had there "newses", just tech. infos... -- Last edit: 2017-08-22 00:10:08 |
