Looks like it has the extra grille badge indicating it has the 455 cubic inch V8, standard in the Bonneville and optional in the Catalina. |

This is really one of the nicest street scene shots on the board. |

Also 1970 1/2 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, and a 1963 Volkswagen 1100 Standard Series Sedan ("Beetle"). I see a 1968 Chevrolet C10 as well. |

Scary. It's like looking into the past. My first car was a 72 Catalina coupe - Cumberland Blue with a white top, white interior. So, I'll tell you that the car had a grille badge regardless of engine. Mine had "400" on the grille. I have tried manipulating the photo, but it looks like "400" to me. I used to scour wrecking yards in the 80's and never saw a 455 Catalina, though, I'm sure they must have existed. Saw plenty of 455 Bonnevilles and Grandvilles. -- Last edit: 2011-12-23 18:39:29 |

Sexy car, looks a lot like a second-generation Olds Toronado, expecially the headlights and cornering lamps. |

1972 Catalina. Caatalinas equipped with the 400 and the 455 had badges on the grille. |

I was actually the one to check the car out in lincoln Nebraska for the movie. It was in beautiful condition. It still had the original plastic wrap on the rear seat from the factory. We didnt have enough time to ship it back to Pittsburgh pa. so once all the paper work was done I drove it the 17hrs back to the burgh. |
