Certainly looks like a Standard 8. Maybe another Japanese maker was building them?? |

In UK, 8 launched Sept 53; external features relevant here are wind-up windows from May 55 (this one looks as if rear quarterlights) and chrome hub caps Oct 55 (these seem matt). So mid-1955?? |
