lemansvk ◊ 2011-05-02 02:28	There are two Isuzu built Minxes in this picture, the second one is upside down next to the on right way up. Both are Super Deluxe versions (two-tone paint) of the PH300 model released in October 1959 (equivalent to Series 3 Minx in the UK). They would commonly be called '1960' models as Rootes and Isuzu released new models late in the year for the following year. Both these cars produced completely in Japan - Isuzu had localised production 100% by late 1957.
lemansvk ◊ 2011-05-02 02:33	Also, notice the two Isuzu Bellels (rear view, triangular taillights) immediately to the left and right of the two Hillmans. These were Isuzu's first own models and relied heavily on the Hillman engineering - they are "sons of Minx".
