It's a 1981-1982 Chevrolet C-10 equipped with a Fleetside bed. It's definitely not the more upscale Silverado model but it looks more like a Scottsdale. Neptune? |

when i thought silverado, i was giving it upscale points for the bumper over-riders, the bright mirrors, and the fact that i thought i saw a hint of the wide plastistainless side moulding line, but that's why i wait for y'all... |

That grille, with the single-headlight configuration and no type of lense under the headlight, did not come as an option for the Silverado. This, combined with the very valid points you brought up, are what make me think it's a Scottsdale, or (if my hunch is correct) a 1981 Cheyenne model. |

ah... thank you. i did know that ~ but ironically, after having lived with a 1982 silverado for many miles about 10 years ago, it had somehow slipped into a dark corner of my brain for a moment. |
