I was going to say Mercedes N 1000 like the one that we had recently, but it is rather an Audi-Union product seeing the logo ![]() |

Seems the maker is IMOSA, but make used DKW?... Maybe we could name it as DKW-IMOSA(make) F1000D (type) |

On the link that I posted above, it is clearly a DKW "furgoneta" documentation. From the very little that I know of these, I think they were just sold as DKW. I am not sure that it is a proof, but the model-car collection "Furgonetas de Antaño" has a DKW, and it is just called "DKW F1000L". -- Last edit: 2006-06-14 18:25:53 |

At end of Seventies had seen one similar(camper-van,high roof),but Mercedes-badged(probably following later the Audi-badged model--in 1965 Audi Brand comeback,'cause was been for years of Daimler-Benz ownership after 2nd WW's end),and seems model identification tag on front was MB-1600,if I'm not wrong(it shown also same big round panel"80"back--the speed limit that can't overtake it on Spain's roads);yes, was just a Spanish-registered one that I seen PS TV Series one had too much larger imitation of a Spanish-plate of '60s-early'70s |

Yes, this one is a 1966 DKW F-1000-D. It's recognizable by the scripts MOTOR and MERCEDES-BENZ between the headlight and the windscreen and also a DIESEL between the front grilles. |

Origin and made in Spain for all the world after a deal between DKW and IMOSA. Heres an interesting article that Motor Clasico magazine published some years ago. http://www.pegasoesmicamion.com/IMOSA%202.htm |

I guess that I can apply that to the whole DKW-Imosa F1000 series ? |
