Fuck BMW! @Kowalski: ![]() Before: ![]() After: ![]() A coloured pic will come next week. Unbearable, to have a pic of the brand in my room, which I loathe. Unfortunately, this was the only calendar, we could get in the office this year. My loud nagging attracted already attention ("Shit Hertz! I want to have the Pirelli-edition!"), but this ws all I could get. ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-01-13 22:27:13 |

That's a North Korean Mercedes-Benz 190e copy apparently made in North Korea only a few pieces made |

To be precise, a "Sungri Paektusan". It was a terrible clunker, as I read in a book of an escaped Nomenklatura-assistant. At my Northkorea-trip in October 2012 I tried to spot one, but I failed. Our guide didn't know any existing "Peaktusan" either. The original 190 still exists there, as many other four-door-Benzes of the last 40 years. The oldest ones were (all 1975/76 MY) W115. The Chief Commander of Panmunjom has a 1983 500 SEL [W126] as official car. And Baby Kim uses Daddy's cars, two W220-Stretch-Limos. I was nearly killed by them. |

Why exactly was Easternbloccars banned? |
◊ 2015-08-05 22:42 |
Yes, why? He wrote just one posting. -- Last edit: 2015-08-05 22:42:39 |

For continous DVLA spam (now deleted). |

Oh, really? I cannot imagine anybody worse about that than TheHeartbreakKid15 |

(Sorry, guys, but what is "DVLA spam"—and first, what is "DVLA"?) |

DVLA is the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, so "DVLA spam" would be British vehicle registration records. |
◊ 2015-08-05 23:22 |
This one was much worse, over 100 comments posted in a very short period of time. |

Merci messieurs. I understand that what is wrong is not to give the details out of a registration plate when it's useful (as quite often does our Rootes-Frontkämpfer) but to straff us with those unrequired. |
◊ 2015-08-05 23:27 |
To be fair, DVLA records explain a identification and you need the proof so..... -3- |
◊ 2015-08-06 14:35 |
But only if there's a real need for the informations. Definitely not for all TG-shown cars. |
◊ 2015-08-06 15:09 |
It was already posted by someone else on a lot of pages too (cf the top comment here). |

The information from the license plate should always be posted. It helps narrow down the model and the year, it also make it easier to spot if a car has been altered with parts from other modelyears. To post the DVLA info also help other users to understand how the vehicle was identified. I think the guy that was banned wanted to update the entries with the new liability date and that is a bit unnecessary don't you think? |

Indeed, it is not useful to repost the dates every few years. Possibly a comment for an old/damaged car that is surprisingly still on the road, or on the contrary for a car not on the road anymore after a short life time, but for all others it is not really useful to have... -- Last edit: 2015-08-07 17:09:43 |
